Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister

Dolores T. Crescenti

Longtime Main-line Havertown resident.

Dolores Teresa Caroline Trombetta-Crescenti, born on February 14, 1933, of the Havertown section of Haverford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving children.

Dolores was a 60-year resident of Havertown and a 60-year member of Annunciation, B.V.M. parish in Havertown. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and the Blessed Mother. As a young girl, Mrs. Crescenti was a licensed beautician at a historic Center City Philadelphia department store. She later returned to school to study Podiatry and worked as a Podiatric Assistant.

Mrs. Crescenti was a long-time member of the Havertown Choristers and sang in numerous concerts. She was also a member of Annunciation Choir for many years. Mrs. Crescenti served on the planning committee of Karakung Swim Club in Havertown and was a charter member of the Havertown Chapter of Benvenuto Sons & Daughters of Italy.

Mrs. Crescenti loved opera, and the sweet sounds of Pavarotti, could often be heard playing in her home. She loved Pavarotti, Puccini, and the conductor, Muti. Dolores loved to dance, especially with her lifelong dance partner, her husband, John Crescenti, Sr.

Her grandchildren called her "Nana" and she spent the better part of her life loving and spending countless hours with them.
Mrs. Crescenti was the wife of the late John J. Crescenti, Sr., the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Grace Trombetta, and sister of the late Dominic Trombetta, and Angelina Trombetta.

Survived by: Younger sister, Mary Anne (Louis) Trombetta-Grebler; children, Denise (Stephen) Crescenti-Cacciola, Johnny (George) Alindayu-Crescenti Jr.,
MaryGrace (Michael) Crescenti -Quinn; eight beautiful and loving grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday, December 20th, ALL IN CHURCH, from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM, with Funeral Mass to Follow at 10:30 AM at Annunciation B.V.M. Church, 401 Brookline Blvd, Havertown, PA 19083. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

our deepest sympathies to your family. Dee is now back in the arms of her loving husband. My husband and I will always remember her warm smile and friendly way. The world is a little sadder with out Dee and 'Sam the water ice man's son' John.
