Tribute & Message From The Family

Beloved Father, Grandfather and Great -Grandfather

Adam "Corkey" Terra, age 92, formerly of Havertown passed away peacefully Sunday morning, January 26th, 2020.

Husband of the late Theresa M. (nee Tagliaferri); brother of the late Paul S. (Helen) Terra, and the late Rita (Andy) DiDonato.
Survived by his son Joseph D. (Deborah), his daughters Bernadette T. (Joseph) Raschilla and Christine M. Terra (Joseph), his 3 granddaughters Kristin, Danielle, and Courtney; his 2 great-grandchildren Christopher and Lilliana, and his companion Angie Cellini.

Adam was a vocational graduate, who shortly after was drafted and served in WWII. After the war, Adam settled down with his late wife Theresa and welcomed their son, Joey into the world on December 24th, 1958. Adam was a skilled mason, and with these talents built a home where he grew his family by 2! On December 11th, 1960, Adam and Theresa completed their family with twins, Bernadette and Christine. Adam and Theresa created a home where the door was always open, and all were welcome. In his spare time, Adam enjoyed rooting for his Philadelphia sports teams and competing in bowling tournaments. Later in life, he met his Partner Angie, and found love in dancing and cruising the Carribean. He cherished moments with his family, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren. Anyone who knew Adam knew him as the life of the party. We will always remember his light spirit, great stories, silly faces and the love he had for his family.

Relatives & friends are invited to his Visitation on Thursday, January 30th from 6-8 PM and his Funeral on Friday, January 31st, 9:30 AM – 11 AM at the DANJOLELL Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike Broomall, PA 19008. Funeral Mass 11:30 AM , St. Pius X Church, Broomall PA 19008

A real joy for us was seeing Corky and Angie do their dancing. They inspired many of us to be not just better dancers, but better people. We loved them very much and we will miss Corky. Rest in peace my friend.

Thank's Cork.. for everything you have done for me during my young adult life. I will never forget your smile the way you held your cigar, when you would get mad. All the times you let me have the company truck just so I'd have wheels. And a million other things I have stored away in my memory. I'm sure my old man has cigars if you need one .
