Condolence & Memory Journal

So sorry to hear about Aunt Nancy, she was a great lady. Years ago when I lived in Ocean City, I always enjoyed going out to dinners or just stopping over for a visit. Marie Haggerty

I had sent a note last week, but something went sideways, as I do not see it. So I will try it again!
The Greeks have two words for time.
Chronos :the Chronological time that we live in
karios the appointed time in the purpose of God (the new Testament)
Rather than simply being gone I like to believe Nancy has gone from Chronos to Karios, and that God is happy to have her home!

Mrs. Lane, as I knew Jack's Mom, was a great friend to my parents, Ed & Patti Keegan for many years. Being one of my closest grade school friend's mom, I had the privilege (and challenge!) of being in her presence often. To say that she left her mark, would be an understatement. She had a quick wit that always was on target and she told it like it was. There was no way anyone who spent any time with Nancy would not have a significant memory. She was striking in the way she carried herself, how she expected her kids (and their friends) to behave and in the experiences to be had. For me that ranged from time on the beach or boat with Jackie, at after school activities or even working at the restaurant at the shore, all of which brought their own lessons and experiences. Being so full of life, I know she will live on in her children's, grand children's and great grand children's memories, as well as mine.
