James Joseph "Jay" Holstein age 30, of Springfield, PA passed away suddenly on July 17, 2021

Jay was an avid Philadelphia sports fan who loved going to all the games. Jay enjoyed fishing with his brother, playing with his dog and listening to music. He was an expert painter who loved what he did and took much pride in his work. Jay was a huge animal lover and will be missed by his dog Brody.

Predeceased by his loving grandfather James Holstein and his dear cousin John Von Pfaff.

Survived by his adoring parents Donna Canavin & James J. Holstein; his step-parents Kim Holstein and Louis Canavin; his cherished brothers and sisters,
Cody Jozwiak and Gina Jozwiak (Ryan Laughlin), Nicholas and Sabrina Canavin, also Nikki, Kellee and Jamie Holstein. His loving grandparents
Mickey and Frank Bowden; and Margaret Holstein. His dear niece Vienna and nephew Gio; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; also, his loving dog Brody.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Sunday evening, July 25th 6:00PM -8:00PM at the Danjolell-Barone Memorial Home of Wallingford,
908 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA also, on Monday, July 26th 9:00AM-10:15 AM. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM OLPH Church
2130 Franklin Avenue, Morton, PA 19070. Interment: Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions is Jay's name may be made to the Providence Animal Center 565 Sandy Bank Road, Media PA 19063

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the heartache you're going through and I wish I could do something to help make you feel better and take that pain away. I'm just praying to God to give all of you the strength to get through this tragedy and help you grieve. Always cherish the memories because they're never gonna be forgotten, as Jay will never be forgotten. His memory will forever live on through each of you as you move forward.
