TROILO
Rosalie A. (nee Masciantonio), age 95, of Aston, PA (formerly of Drexel Hill, PA), passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, on August 29, 2021.
Rosalie was predeceased by her husband Fred, her parents Domenic and Elizabeth Masciantonio, her sisters Marie Masciantonio and Anna Tulskie, her brothers Nicholas & Jerome Masciantonio and a special niece Marie Tulskie Forcina.
She is survived by her loving children Fred Jr., Liz Petrik (Jack) and Jeannie, her granddaughter Marie, who was the light of her life, her special niece Hedy Tulskie Doherty and many nieces, nephews, and caring friends.
Rosalie enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. She was especially known for her pizzelles, which were loved by all. Her Palm Sunday celebrations brought her loved ones together for 65 consecutive years and the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve was a labor of love for her every year. In recent years she also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino, and she developed a love for weekend trips to Sea Isle City, NJ.
At the family's request, services will be private due to Covid-19. A celebration of her life with a memorial Mass and luncheon will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosalie's memory may be made to the National Shrine of St. Rita of Cascia, 1166 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146.

Condolence & Memory Journal

I always remember my friend Liz's mother Rosalie as being so welcoming when you visited her home. A home beautifully kept and you instantly felt at home there. Condolences to the whole family. Rest in the peace of the Lord. A life well lived.

We had the privilege of being next door neighbors to Rosalie and her family for 37 of those 95 years. We had so many lovely over the hedge conversations and sharing goodies together. And Rosalie loved God and worshiped Him. As believers in Jesus, we did too. It was a very special relationship. We are sorry to see her pass, but she is with her Lord. We are grateful. Lovingly, Ralph and Joyce Eckardt
