Ron taught at Saint Joseph's University and operated a private Psychology practice in Haddonfield NJ for many years. Resident of a local retirement community for the past five years, Ron shared his expertise by teaching relaxation and stress management techniques. He enjoyed playing and coaching Bocce Ball and participating in Community Theatre productions.

He was predeceased by his parents Rose Sigal Galinsky and David Galinsky.

Ron is survived by his Life Partner Janet Roney, and by his loving daughters, Kara LaGamba and husband Hank and Debra Garvin and husband Tom and grandchildren Sierra LaGamba, Gianna LaGamba, and Jenna Garvin. He is also survived by brother Carl Galinsky and wife Carol, and his nieces, Joanne Fontana and Karen Lesh and their families.

The family requests donations in Ron's honor be given to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network,

Ron found inspiration in the words of a favorite musician, Jimmy Buffet:
"I have always looked at life as a voyage, mostly wonderful, sometimes frightening. In my family and friends, I have discovered treasure more valuable than gold".

Condolence & Memory Journal

Working with Ron on the Wellness Committee, and especially co-facilitating the Meditation Support Group with Ron, gave me a deep and meaningful way to get to know him. He was special. He cared so much for his family, but also for his Riddle Village family, and it showed. I miss his cheery old face!

I only had the pleasure of knowing Ron for a very short time. He was a very kind, gentle, and quiet man. I knew he was intelligent, but never knew he was so well educated. He will surely be missed my prayers and
sympathy go out to his family. Ed and Mary Jo Shell
