Message From The Family

As an expression of sympathy flowers are welcome and memorial contributions may be made to the Gift of Life Donor Program (www.donors1.org).

Andrew Michael Harley (age 37) of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away unexpectedly on September 18th, 2021.

Born February 6th, 1984 in Philadelphia, PA. Father to Alyssa, son to Thomas and Catherine Harley (nee Higgins). Andrew was raised in Southwest Philly and graduated from Ridley High School in 2003.

Andrew worked primarily in the recovery field, most recently he worked at The Palms Recovery Men's Program in Palm Springs, FL. He started as a client liaison before working his way to the Director of Operations within one year.

During Andrew's way too short life, he never stopped fighting to have a better life. He never gave up, and over the past 3 years he finally had the life he always wanted. While working in the recovery community he helped countless individuals have a chance at a beautiful life. Andrew's final contribution to this world was providing the gift of life to four organ recipients.

Andrew was a smart, creative, strong, and funny person; he loved being the center of attention. From a young age he enjoyed painting & drawing, he perfected this over the years and became a really great artist. He was a lover of dogs and rescued more than a few over the years.

Preceded in death by sister Mary Ellen Harley. Survived by daughter Alyssa, parents Thomas and Catherine Harley (nee Higgins) and siblings Catherine, Monica (Dan), Helen (Frank), Bernadette (Bill), Tommy (Kathy), Christopher (Carol), and Bridget; also his fiancé Jennifer Minniti. He was a loving uncle to 17 nieces and nephews and a great uncle to 14.

I have three memories of Andrew. Playing in when we were kids, riding on the red power wheels at their house in Philly, and Tommy's wedding. In all my memories you were a wonderful person. I always thought we had time to reconnect, then time passed. I am sorry I let that time pass. Tom and Cass and everyone in the family, my sympathies.
