Tribute & Message From The Family

Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather & Brother

FINEGAN

Michael Patrick Finegan, 75 of Media, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, October 1, 2021 at his home. Born in Darby, PA, to Elizabeth Potts (nee Motson) and Joseph Finegan, Mike was a proud lifelong resident of Media. He served with honor in the US Army, was stationed in Germany, as an MP and radar technician. Mike was retired as a lineman for PECO Energy after 30 plus years. He was a member of the Aston Loyal Order of Moose and the Media VFW Post 3460. He loved to ride his Harley, go fishing, hunt, play softball, shoot pool, and play horseshoes at the Folk Festival. Mike travelled extensively all over the world and loved Egypt and Rome. Mike was a great woodworker and he re-built many homes. He loved his kids, grandkids, wife Pat, and entertaining his friends. He enjoyed filling his birdfeeders and loved watching his birds. "Media Mike" or "Tinky" as he was fondly called, was a friend to so many, and the salt of the Earth. They just don't make 'em like him anymore. To remember Mike, just ride your motorcycle into the wind.

Preceded in death by his grandson Anthony Michael Russo, he is survived by his wife Patrica Jane (nee O'Rourke), brother Joseph of Roswell, GA, sons Michael Patrick Jr. of Boynton Beach FL, Tobiah Justin of La Jolla, CA, daughter Courtney Elizabeth Ramey of Lake Worth Beach, FL, grandson Michael Finegan III, granddaughters Emma Susan, Lucia Jane, and Chloe Elizabeth.

Viewing will be held Sunday, October 10 from 10am-11:45 am at D'Anjolell Funeral Home, 2811 West Chester Pike in Broomall followed by his
Memorial Service 12 noon. Interment Private.

We loved Mike so much. He was the guy you went to first with any question on best place for body work, quickest route to any place in the tri-state area, strongest glue, or just ask about life. He loved me as a 2nd daughter and always said when we parted that he loved me and to stay out of trouble. I will miss you so much and thank you for your friendship.
