LOVING HUSBAND, FATHER, GRANDFATHER
MARZIANI
Walter J. "Walt", age 68, passed away peacefully at home with his family on Dec. 8, 2021. Walter was born in Moro D'oro, Abruzzo, Italy. He was
the son of the late Nicolo and Gloria (DeMarco). His family immigrated to the United States in 1956 where they settled in the 49th street section
of Philadelphia, then later Overbrook. Walter was a skilled bricklayer who was proud of his craft for over 40 years. He worked for many contractors and Union Local 1. Walter was known for his outgoing, gregarious personality. He could always be found smiling, laughing and singing. Walter was also known
for his love of The Beatles.
Survived by his devoted wife of 37 yrs. Joanne (nee D'Alesandro), his son Walter (fiancé Valarie), his grandson Joseph, his brothers Nicolo and
Frank, his sisters Gloria (Anthony) Mari and Cristina (Joseph) DiTommaso, his sister and brother in-laws Rosemarie, Mike, Janet and Mark , many
cousins, nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his brother Maurizio "Morris".
Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday Evening 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday Morning 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. at The D'Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike 19008 and Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. in the Main Chapel. Interment S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

I am so sad to hear of Walt's passing. We had a lot of fun times at the Overbrook Club. His laugh is something I will always remember. Sending prayers to the family.

We live in the same neighborhood for many many years and it was just a wave or a halo between you and I until the wedding last year when we got to hang out a little bit and talk. We knew Walter very well. He was always so handsome. Very
well liked too.
They lived up the street from us on 51st St. We were so sorry
to hear of his passing, and send our deepest condolences and prayers

I will truly miss my friend. Walt and I met when we're around 11 years old. He was doing a wheelie. I was standing on Dukes corner. From that day on we became friends. He a great Dad Husband and Friend.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Walt. Another boyhood friend gone. Walt always a a great smile and a great laugh. A great husband and father and he was great at what he did best Bricklaying. May he rest in peace. My prayers are for Joanne and his family.
