Obituary for Robert J. "Bob" Patrizio, Sr.

September 5, 1936 - November 5, 2021
Aston, Pennsylvania | Age 85

Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother

Robert (Bob) Joseph Patrizio, Sr. age 85 of Aston, PA, passed away at home on November 5, 2021, after a long battle with cancer.

Bob was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 5, 1936, grew up in Clifton Heights, PA and was a graduate of West Catholic High School. He worked in construction until he became the owner of Rayner Vending Service where he retired from in 1999. Early in his life he served 5 years in the Army Reserves. Bob cherished his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed playing Santa distributing gifts from the gigantic family stocking. Taking trips to Disney World with family and friends was his #1 passion along with travelling out West to tour national parks. He was a lifetime Eagles fan being a season ticket holder for many years. Bob loved to eat and if entered in a contest, he would have won 1st place. When ordering pizza, you had to make sure you ordered a whole extra-large pizza just for him which is probably why he either jogged or went to the gym every day. He liked to jokingly refer to himself as "Bobby P". After retiring he kept himself busy by going to auctions and the New Castle Flea Market.

Predeceased by his parents Frank Patrizio and Anna Fagioli Patrizio, grandson Stephen and granddaughter Christina.

Survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 42 years, Janice (nee Markun), sons Bob Patrizio (Donna) of Downingtown, PA, Steve Patrizio (Janet) of Exton, PA, and daughters Tracey Wichhart of Atglen, PA, Tammy Leslie (Scott) of Honey Brook, PA and Jaclyn Patrizio of Burlington, VT and his 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Brother of Frank (Pat) Patrizio.

Funeral Mass 10:45 am at St. Joseph Church 3255 Concord Rd. Aston.
